CMAC, a voluntary, member-based 501c3 non-profit organization, was incorporated in 2008.
It is, however, the third generation evolutionary product of a grass roots effort begun in 2001 by Fresno area residents working to assure that cable television capacity - utilizing public rights-of-way - would finally become accessible to local communities as provided for under Federal Statute, State Law and Local Ordinance.
CMAC was created to oversee the development and operation of Fresno-area PEG Access production facilities and to manage local access channels on behalf of users.
